This is a copy of the advertisement that (then) ICL Croatia published in major Croatian daily newspapers on January 16th 1992. The printing technology at the time required that all advertisements materials had to be submitted several days before publishing, i.e several days BEFORE Croatia was recognised, but it was decided that recognition of Croatia is inevitable, and that we should prepare an advertisement to mark the event. It was decided that Thursday January 16th is the best date for such advertisement. It turned out that the timing was perfect, and the competitors managed to publish similar ads few days later.
